Aside from the immense success and several Super Bowl wins, it’s the ownership structure. The Packers are the only publicly-owned franchise in the NFL. They have shareholders, just like Microsoft and Facebook or Meta or whatever the fuck they are calling themselves lately. Unlike these scumlords, the Packers are a non-profit organization, and the only team in the NFL to release financial statements.
I can get down with how transparent the Packers are. It helps that they play some incredibly powerful football. There are still Packers haters out there, and sometimes it’s hard to avoid them.
